Continued from here.Fred shivered slightly as Rupert removed her soaked clothes, letting them fall to floor with wet sploshes. She tried to pull up on his shirt, but when his hands started running over her skin, she moaned, especially when he kneeled in front of her, his tongue finding her clit. With a soft cry, she grabbed his shoulders to stay upright. She was very definitely beginning to warm up, electrical sensations tingling throughout every part of her body."Oh, God," she whimpered when he delved back between her legs after asking what she wanted. She tugged at him, pulling him up and grasping his sweater to pull it off before reaching for his jeans to unbuckle them and push them down with his boxers."Want you inside me," she told him, pulling him closer to kiss him. "Against the wall. Won't be able to do that soon, so want to do it now."
Fred gasped when she felt the wall seem to fall away from her back, worried that Rupert was going to fall over and hurt himself, but when they came to rest on the arm of the chair, she let out a sigh of relief. Reaching up, she ran her hand through his damp hair while cuddling close to him."It's all right. I was more worried about you hurting yourself than dropping me," she told him softly. "And you're not old. At least I don't think you're old. I think you're absolutely wonderful."She found herself grinning when he told her she was amazing. "I definitely cast my vote for doing that again when we're able." She leaned forward and kissed him softly and deeply for several moments before pulling back from him and looking into his eyes. "Come on. I'll get the computer online, and we can go searching for some books together."Slipping off his lap, she took his hand to led him upstairs after they gathered up their clothes from the foyer.
Giles couldn't remember the last time he'd been to Peter's house. It had to be a couple of years at least, even though he'd been invited several times. There never seemed to be enough time between him going to Sunnydale, restarting the Council, and getting married. And the last time he'd seen Evelyn and Henry, Henry was still a tiny infant. After pulling up to the house, Giles got out and went to Fred's side of the car to open the door. Once she was out, he took her hand and led her to the front door and rang the doorbell. A few seconds later, Peter opened it and grinned at the two of them."It's so good to see you, Rupert," he said, ushering them in. He took their coats just as Evelyn walked out with Henry on her hip."Hello, Rupert," she said with a smile."Hello, Evelyn. Fred, this is Evelyn, and Evelyn, this is my wife Fred," Giles said, introducing the two. Just then Henry let out a loud cry and held his pudgy arms out to Giles. Evelyn smiled and thrust the baby in his arms. Giles fumble a bit and took Henry from his mouth. The little boy looked at Giles for a moment before reaching up and pulling his hair."Henry!" Peter said as he stepped back into the foyer. "Do behave.""It's all right," Giles said as the baby continued to yank on his hair.
The house of Rupert's friend Peter was the sort of typical English house that the older families in the Council seemed to have, based on what he had told her. Fred looked at it in amazement as they walked up toward it. It seemed to even outdwarf Rupert's parents' home although she wasn't sure if that was because it really was or because she was a bit uncertain about meeting another member of the board. When Peter answered the door and invited them in, Fred found herself feeling even more nervous. She smiled when Rupert introduced her to Evelyn just before the baby - Henry - began crying to be held by her husband. Once he took the little boy, everything seemed to be okay for a minute until Henry began pulling Rupert's hair. Fred's eyes widened in dismay, especially when Peter and Evelyn didn't really do anything to stop him except tell him not to."Rupert, are you--?" she started to ask before Peter interrupted."Would you like a drink before dinner?" Peter asked.Fred shook her head. "Sorry, I shouldn't. But Rupert, if you'd like on, I'll take Henry if he doesn't mind." She held out her arms toward the little boy, wanting to spare her husband from anymore hair pulling.
Henry turned his attention to Fred and held his arms for her. Giles slipped the child into Fred's arms before looking to Peter. "Water will be fine," he said, not wanting to drink. The thought of drinking made his stomach flip and he didn't want to get sick again. The meeting was too important for them to leave early."Dinner is almost ready," Evelyn said as she looked over at Fred and Henry. "You'll have to excuse him. Our nanny has the night off and we thought we could find a sitter but couldn't. It's almost having a newborn in the house. I haven't changed a nappie in ages."Peter grinned and looked at Giles. "And I don't think I ever have," he said, slapping his shoulder.Giles furrowed his brow, wanting to ask why they even had a child if they weren't going to take care of him. But before he could, a servant came out and announced dinner was ready."This way," Evelyn said, walking off with her husband.Giles gave Fred an apologetic look before waiting for her to start walking so they could follow Peter and Evelyn to the dining room.
Henry immediately found Fred's hair, but instead of pulling it, tangled his little fingers in it, which wasn't too bad. She couldn't believe it when Evelyn and Peter admitted that they really hadn't changed their son's diapers in a long time. From the looks of things, they hadn't done much with him at all, especially considering how perfect Evelyn's hair looked. She tried not to judge them since she really didn't know them, but she wondered why they had a child if they didn't want to take part in his life. Was it really that much of a status symbol to them? When the servant announced dinner, neither of them offered to take Henry from Fred, so she sighed and shook her head at her husband before they followed them into the dining room. Fred saw the highchair, so she set Henry into it, stifling a yelp when he kept hold of her hair and her dress bodice. Finally, she got him to let go and circled around the table to sit with Rupert, listening silently while Peter mentioned that their cook had been working on the dinner all day. When the food was served, the servant placed a small plate in front of Henry. Immediately, he dug his fingers into it. And a moment later, Fred found several mushed peas hitting her. Pressing her lips together, she clasped Rupert's hand tightly under the table, praying that they never got a lobomotomy and allowed their own child to act like this.
